Professor Jörg E. Drewes is an internationally recognised expert in the field of advanced water treatment and water reuse. Since 2013, he has been active in science and teaching as a full professor at the Chair and Research Centre for Urban Water Management at the Technical University of Munich. From 1997-2013, he held a professorship in the USA. He played a leading role in the design, commissioning, and operational optimization of numerous water reuse projects in California, Arizona, Colorado, Australia, and Europe. He has also served on a number of expert committees on public health, water treatment, and water reuse issues.
